The fact that this is a 1.2, and not a 1 annoys me.

Very enjoyable read, i personally salute you for taking the initiative and writing this in order to send a message.

"is this semicolon intentional?"
It was intentional to use a semicolon in that spot in the review, is that incorrect?

Well, sad thing is, the industry only takes staff reviews seriously anyway, even though contrib or even regular user reviews often match their quality
|
| |
^ sad but true...
|

Semicolon goes before however, no?

These guys are mediocre enough, just the fact that they released a greatest hits album tells me that they are dying.

"and usually the band has little to no involvement in them bar throwing an extra new track that they don’t give two fucks about haphazardly in order to fill a contract quota."
Sentence is missing a word.
|
| |
"However; when a label goes out of their way to try and take down a band not just in the court of law, but behind the scenes as well, something needs to be done as a whole."
This is bad on multiple levels. Semicolon usage improper, label is singular so "its way," should be try "to" take down, "a" court of law, and the last part seems too vague and weak to be included.
|
| |
"Avenged Sevenfold announced that due to a “seven-year law” in their recording contract, that they would be parting ways with Warner Brothers Records due to"
"Due to" repetition should be avoided, also eliminate ", that" and just make it "contract they".

"The fact that we as musicians, as a music community continue to" - Doesn't read right.
"I’m proposing awareness, I’m proposing anything more than the current state of apathy. This is about sending a message, and moving towards a better systemic approach for the music community as a whole." - Gotta be a bit more helpful here tbh. It sounds like you have specific ideas but saying "a better systemic approach" makes this end very timidly. Kinda like the "we gotta dooooo something" protesters. You have ideas, so write them here.

Other than some additional comma abuse the "review" is quite well written. Might have to read some of your other stuff now even though you tend to review albums I despise.

There's a decent "greatest hits" to be made for A7X, but this is NOT it

They could honestly make it somewhat cohesive having some of their most memorable story-driven/long songs in one section
