Good review, not into the genre but it was well written enough to get me somewhat interested. The throat-singing song sounds appealing, as does the "noise for people who don't like noise" thing because I don't like noise. Might give this a spin out of curiosity.

erie changys is incredible, so this did serve its purpose
its inclusion is a bit odd due to the lack of noise in favor of subtle usage of strings and atmospheric synths (?) or whatever else was playing

interesting
how's the Melt-Banana track?
|
| |
It's aight
|

sweet i'll give this a try then, I like a few of these artists but the quality of adult swim releases can be iffy
|
| |
I'll be honest, i'm a couple tracks deep and this is the first time I haven't immediately hated 'noise' so it's going well, though the Melt-Banana track didn't feel all that noisy to me and the first song was like 20 seconds of noise total and then a lot of hip-hop? trap? feeling stuff. Dug the EYE song though and that felt authentically noisy, going to finish the album off tomorrow morning.

smh did arca really release a song called bussy

"Clipping.’s track ”Body for the Pile” is perhaps the worst offender of simply pasting noise onto the backing track just for the sake of being “noise”, or whatever the boys in the band think qualifies as such."
Considering William Hutson recently completed a PhD dissertation on experimental music with an entire chapter devoted to the history of noise, I think I can safely say he knows what qualifies as such.

Well that's nice

and yet he still can't make any music of substantial worth. goes to show intelligence doesn't equal talent
