This is actually a good thing e21. A 4 for me means I like it better than most. And when I think of all the album I've listened to, that's saying something. This one is still growing on me. I wouldn't be surprised if this grew into a 4.5 after a few months of listening--time will tell--I really like it.

I agree, Twig. A 4.0 is a great rating to any album. But, as you said, it still can grow more in you with the time. Who knows? Nice.

By the way, nice to see you in the late-night time slot. Usually see you early in the morning.

Yeah, but it's not easy to me. I have my family and usually is at night that we can share our free time. By the other hand, you know, Europe, America, five or six hours of difference, it's hard to me. This is really a pity because I think that almost all members of Sputnik live on the other side of the ocean. Anyway, as long as I can I will try to do so.

Album starts with a heartbeat, like Dark Side Of The Moon, so you know it's got to be great.

Agreed, and both albums start pretty much melodic and laid back, and the similarities stop there...They also came out in 1973...Was it a coincidence...

Yeah, most of the giants (and less known) of prog were on the map, and '73 offers pretty much the best albums by each of them. It's arguably my fave year in music.

Wow, just did a chart search for '73 prog albums, that is an amazing list!

I checked ''Progressive rock timeline'' from Wickipedia. '73 is full of gems. At least 9/10 of the list contains albums to bring on a desert island. That's an heavy load ha!
And there is obviously much more than prog rock to love during that time...
