Unsure how I feel about this at all. I think it's kinda good, but I can't sit through Stay Clothed Though, and most of the tracks sound kinda unmemorable.

Stay Clothed is def the worst track here, and while I've heard some complain of the homogeneous nature of this, I actually think it's pretty diverse and eclectic

This album sounds like the soundtrack to an indie film. Not sure if it fully reflects the concept it was trying to convey though.

"The record communicates an underlying commentary on today’s world of Internet driven hyper-realities, superficial connections and the increasing elusiveness of romance and relationships. Reflected in the song titles are themes of late-night chats, online dating, and fleeting moments of intimacy instead of finding deep and meaningful relationships.

In Ondrej’s own words: “You just live a long series of these semi feelings that are OK for the moment but don’t leave a significant memory in the long run.”

"Sowing do you rate any records under a four these days?"

Only the ones that deserve it ;)

But yeah it's been a remarkable year

Thanks for reccing this Sowing, the opener is gorgeous can't wait to hear how the rest of this album plays out. The complete lack of any votes on RYM surprises me

Hmm this reminds me a fair bit of Nine Inch Nails' album Ghosts except with heavy trip hop influences

Honestly, this doesn't really go anywhere. I'm already at track 6 and I'm already feeling deja vu cos the tracks sound too similar to one another. The glitchiness and classical influeneced atmosphere (with the occasional hint at post rock) is done far better on Program Music I anyway

Checked this out a couple weeks ago when you posted your year-end list. Good review. More Like It is my favorite.

This is amazing. Album is chill as hell.

Also don’t mind the rapping on Stay Clothed Though at all. That track rules honestly.
