Just listened to the full album. Your review was very well written, as it didn't sound fanboy-ish at all. I agree with you, that it's a huge step up from Hail to the King. However, Shadows vocals for the most part almost hold this record back. In my opinion, he sounds at his worst here as far as quality, which is a shame because the instrumentation is by far the best it's been since CoE. Still, I'm glad to see they haven't lost their creative spark. Definitely gonna give it another listen before I give a rating.
