I'm checking on 3teeth right now (it's pretty catchy). The only modern industrial act that I know is Youth Code but the vocals are crippling the music. Ah ! And there's also Acylum whose album The Enemy and Karzinom are pure classics in my opinion. And also Cyanotic but I find them quite flawed if promising.

Psyclon Nine were fantastic, but then the singer fucked up so they imploded, so they're no more. Shame.

I only know Psyclon Nine by name.
When listening to 3Teeth, it gives me the feeling that todays industrial bands do industrial "by the book" which is a contradiction in itself because industrial is more of an approach than a specific sound. So we have industrial bands which repeat the tropes of industrial music but can't give you the feeling of chaos and ordered randomness you might expect.
I was surprised to experience this "industrial" feeling with a band like Buke and Gase which is classified as (and is) folk, alternative rock and indie rock but which has such a peculiar sound and use of percussions that it felt a bit industrial at times. Anyway.
There's also Angelspit but although I always liked their lyrics I thought the music was never "enough."

Shall check Angelspit. Acylum are hit and miss for me also.
Check out Psyclon Nine though, they do things a little differently; last two albums in particular.

I'll check psychlon nine. I'm listening to hard wired it's good. But god do I hate this cover hi hi.
I'm really surprised at the release date of the last FLA album. I think I enjoyed Echogenetic so much that I didn't realize that the years were passing by. It's from 2013. And the last Skinny Puppy too. Can't wait to hear some new material from both bands.

I personally think skinny puppy are another level to these guys, even though I enjoy this, skinny puppy just sound so much more interesting

I’m kinda surprised by the gap between the avgs for this and Tactical Neural Implant. I’d say they’re both nearly on the same level, though this has grown significantly on me and i think this is the superior album

Nah, don't think this is as good as Tactical Neural Implant, personally. Still a solid effort though.

Damn FLAvour of the Weak is almost Prodigy/Chemical Bros esque. They did a good job doing the big beat thing on that album. Shame it gets no respect.

this album has a specific sound/mood that it nails down pretty much perfectly. all around dark/destitute. angry and lost, spacey but aggressively doubtless
