I actually really liked the shouting thing the first time he tried it on Know Hope but on the last album it was pretty unbearable, yes.

A lot better than their last. They really need to change something though, they are heading towards obscurity.

I kept hearing that this band was either had the worst live presence at Warped this year, or one of the best.
I missed them because I was seeing a different band so I can't personally comment.

Garret did an awful job screaming when I saw them at warped, but he does well singing. I think it has to do with the set they play though. I guess he just can't do some songs. I don't blame him, some of the things off of their last record were pretty bad in studio alone. I hear the acoustic sets they do afterwards are solid. I think once their guitarist starts doing screams for the new songs and they fill their sets with less H.o.p.e tracks they'll probably just get better universal reception.

When I saw them 2 years ago at Warped they performed very well, Aaron was doing the screams throughout and he sounded great

Saw them at Warped this year and they were one of the best. Crown the Empire, Motionless in White, and especially Ice Nine Kills were all better though.

I've seen Ice Nine Kills 7 times, they are consistently amazing live. Even back in 2009 they were great live

This gets better as I listen to it. Trail of Blood is extremely good. This is slowly becoming my favorite album from these guys.

Nothing beats My Devil In Your Eyes for me

Know Hope is still my favorite. It's mainly due to highschool nostalgia, but I genuinely think it was an (and maybe the only) example of hopecore done right.

I can't get past the weird vocal transition on Know Hope, I hated Garret's yells
|

Really? I loved how his vocals sounded on that album. It gave the album a more unique flavor.

Know Hope is good, but Devil is also my favorite. This is probably my second favorite. One of the only post-hardcore bands to successfully transition into more pop-rock territory IMO

It was definitely more unique, but it was very grating to me. His vocals on Devil were perfect imo

is this good? i get bored just thinking about it. band dipped in quality hard after Know Hope

It's most definitely a step back in the right direction, I'd give a shot. If you can't get past the first three tracks tho, then you'll most likely not enjoy the record as a whole

This album was pretty unbearable to me. This band is a shadow of their former selves.

I remember liking it, but I haven't listened to it since the week it came out. It's no Devil for sure
