Average perfectly describes this. Some tracks are a throwback to their Collide / Comatose days such as "I Want To Live", but otherwise this is an inconsistent mesh of random rock / electronic rock songs. Still slightly better than their last album though.

it's basically another "Awake and Alive"/"Rebirthing" cop-out in an attempt to keep their "symphonic bombast" style in check. I have a feeling that they're going to keep doing for the rest of their careers.

some of this is cringe and some of this is kinda interesting but just so much of it is butt rock swing bullshit that bands like nickleback have been driving into the ground for like thirty seven years now
and there's no real epic string arrangements that made comatose so punchy
