not really noteworthy at all, but i didnt hear anything offensively bad except for some sorta bad stuff in six feet closer to hell
for real tho there's zero point in even looking at lyrics in deathcore
|
| |
yeah I know that, I just remember them being a super stand out bad thing last album. like I remember the instruments, production, and even ambition had all improved and progressed except for the stagnant vox
All i'm saying is I how I hope he s t i l l isnt talking about slitting his throat in front of mirriors and watching himself choke

Best deathcore I've heard in awhile. Lyrics weren't anything special, but other than that, it was nice.

Soccer riot, i seen That comment coming just by looking at your avatar! Lol... But you forgot to mention The Black Dahlia Murder!? Trevor is Edgar Allen Poe of Death Metal. And btw, with the exception of a few bands, when it comes to extreme metal wtin harsh vocals, i tend to look at the vocals as another instrument. The lyrics aren't important im most cases.

Yeah, Black Dahlia Murder's lyrics are great too. I like how they combine grotesque and dark imagery with a certain eloquence. Gojira's lyrical work is also amazing, very beautiful and contemplative... its juxtaposition with the death metal-based musical content is just awesome

Lyrics don't mean everything to me in the least. I usually just go with how the song makes me feel. Saying that the lyrics don't matter though is a bit of a stretch. Underoath's lyrics matter, Silent Planet, HORSE the Band, The Number Twelve, and many more.

I just happened to be reading the lyrics along with the album as I was analyzing it.

"who listens to metal let alone deathcore for lyrics????"
dumbest shit I read in awhile. Not the part of deathcore but to say all metal isn't good for lyrics is a fucking joke.
