very fair tbh

Nowhere near as good and original sounding as their debut.
"Spring" sounds too much like a mellow Third Eye Blind song.

if it sounded like a mellow 3eb song from their s/t it would be way better tbh

Enjoyed the shit out of this but nowhere near the quality of their first album. Agreed at Shimmer being cool. Dug the chorus of Knuckles heaps too.

Record is a lot better than I was expecting. Lyrical content has improved - the silly, corny lyrics held back the first one a lot, although it still jams hard. Digging this one quite a bit on first listen.

Yeah by no means is this band bad. Bland maybe. Not bad tho
|
| |
isn't this that one band that referenced Deja Entendu
Knuckles is surprisingly decent

Don't see how this is overrated. I think it's a pretty solid rock album.

3.5 avg seems about right ya

This has actually grown on me a bit. Still nothing genre defining or anything, but it's solid and catchy. Fav tracks are: Knucles, Glow, Spring, and Shimmer

Moose Blood is to There Will Be Fireworks what Taking Back Sunday is to Brand New.

Then I guess I need to check There Will Be Fireworks then.
