I didn't get "greatest Thrice ever" vibe from it but yeah it was really enjoyable

Hurricane is easily the best song here by a pretty big margin

"Blood On The Sand" was alright I suppose. Felt like being heavy for the sake of being heavy and there was nothing too memorable about it. Enjoying "The Window" so far.

Hurricane is one of the best but I prefer the last song and probably Death From Above

Death From Above, Hurricane, and Black Honey are a cut above the rest.

The only problem i have with this album is that having listened to the last tunes of "Salt and Shadow" (the piano hurricane riff), I need to hear the song "Hurricane" again- vicious cycle!

On that track now. Definitely an awesome album after one listen.

Haha! Literally has happened to me every time. 'Hurricane' gets listened to in full as the closer and the opener for me.

Enjoyable for what it is. Generally nothing too exciting or innovative but well executed as an alt rock album.

Hurricane is definitely a strong way to open

Dustin's voice is sounding pretty strained on this record - part of it is no doubt stylistic but wondering if there's been some damage there

his vocals have progressively gone that way over the last few years, you can hear it develop over the chorus of the three solo releases he had

i really like the way it sounds now

i think that raspy-ness in his voice helps give him more of an identity. i don't really think it hurts this that much, if at all.

ain't nothing wrong with his vocal delivery, that's not what's at fault here.

I don't think it hurts the album, but I'm curious whether he's actually damaged his voice or whether he's still able to ditch the rasp when needed. This album is the first where it really sounds like the former

I have to agree with that. At least that is how it sounds. Love the gruff but hope he still has the capability to return to the smoothness of the verses on "Broken Lungs" from Air.

I'm liking this album more and more but there's some songs that I think are just downright awful
