this cd is pure awesomeness. i love every track but i got to say the slower ones arent as good. Fir COming out of a Monkeys Head, green world, feel good onc, kids with guns, dirty harry, and november has come are my favorites.

I don't agree with the review. Demon Days is a great CD. Each track that seems to drag on (Kids With Guns has been referenced), revamps itself at the end with a completely steller outro. Every Planet We Reach Is Dead is a fine example.
Although I do agree, White Light became really annoying really quick. The only annoying thing about Dare was the male spoken vocals, yet it unfortunately completes it.
Great CD. 5.0

i think feel good inc is one of the worst songs on the album. most of the songs that would be unknown to people without the album are way better than the singles. i also saw them in a live performace and they were great. 3.5/5

I have to be honest, this is probably one of my favorite albums. I can listen through this album time and time again with no disappointment. I don't know why, I just love it.

During the summer of 7th grade, a rather strange movement took place in my area, and in my age group. While they had always been slightly interesting, music videos began to be taken very seriously. The summer of 2001 saw many a video gain notoriety; Sum 41s Fat Lip, System of a Downs Chop Suey, and Linkin Parks Crawling all gained huge airplay on the new video channel, MTV2. HA, I vividly remember that summer, too.
I like this record, kind of. I listen to it when I drive sometimes. Their other stuff is...I don't know...uninspired/lazy, I guess. I like how the rap on this album isn't overdone and obnoxious with genuinely stupid lyrics that either try too hard to be serious or are just downright not thought out, like rap usually is. It's somewhat playful and doesn't even really dominate the songs that its in.
I've actually considered looking into something by MF Doom because of this album.

Damon Albarn's said he won't be going back to this anymore. Shame, I think the idea had one more album in it

When I first got this I wasn't sure I liked it, in fact it bored me. But its grown on me recently. ^^ I'm thinking my rating could be a little generous though, considering I generally skip White Light and November Has Come

The only problem with this album is when it raps. Sounds good, but if you listen closely its bollucks.

There's rumours of a Gorillaz movie that would involve Terry Gilliam

For some reason this band catches my attention.
Although they can get a bit repetitive, and sometimes they're not exactly the most exciting band ever, but hey, they have a nice sound.
Maybe it's the whole "cartoon" concept, but many bands have done much stranger.
Perhaps the fact that they're dedicated enough to go to lengths as their 'virtual tours', but again, stranger things have been done.
Anywho, I honestly really enjoy this band, and this happens to be my favorite album.
