This album was good, not great, but good. It has some enjoyable musical parts, but man, so many of the tracks bleed together. I appreciate the better production, I however feel it's a step backwards musically.

Honestly, I don't hate the production that any of Fallujahs albums had. My schtick here was the lack of highs when their single promised me there'd be some more god damn highs.

Is this what the Periphery fans listen to these days?

Finally got to hear this. I feel like it is alot less jarring than TFP, if jarring at all; the songwriting has improved in that sense. Production is better overall, but sounds weak. I think these guys have a really great album in them, but this isn't it.

well, you don't really need to criticise the production when it's so easy to criticise everything else, do you?
i think betray's argument is quite cogent.

Let the audible shit flow through and infect your ears with production soaked in an e-coli mix.

The electronic stuff was pretty shitty. Nice of them to try branching out but neither song went anywhere, let alone acted as a nice interlude. I do dig a few of the tracks, though. Amber Gaze is fantastic.

it sounds just like the electronic beats and stuff all the metalcore and progressive metal bands have been shittily putting in their music for like at least 5 years. I'm not sure that's branching out

Google "The Flesh Prevails vinyl rip FLAC" and a few of the sources should come up. There were only a few seeds for 100s of MB, but I got mine downloaded in less than a day. I'm not sure what the pirate linking rules are on sputnik, but just googling that should lead you right to it

Lots of criticism of Fidelio and Les Silences, but I actually love how they break up the latter half of the record.

This gets better with every listen for me. I'm not sure why, but it's clicking SO much after the afterglow wore off and I thought I'd dislike it for a while. But I can't stop listening.

I agree. These guys have a masterpiece in them, but I think it's gonna take another record. They're sooooo close to something transcendental. Never thought I'd say that about these guys...I wasn't a fan before TFP.

I really don't like the title track, it seems like it is all over the place.
