I'm just missing the excellent features he used to have like Garm and Akerfeldt, but then all his albums since the first two have been far more interesting musically so I guess he doesn't feel he needs to rely on features anymore

Oh yeah, I still haven't heard Eremita properly actually. Don't think that song itself was as good as Unhealer or Homecoming but still a great feature

Eremita is probably my favorite from Ihsahn. You should get on it.

angL was ok, but Unhealer was great for sure. i agree he should do more collabs like that

my favourite Mikael vocals ever tbh such a tune

yea it's up there for sure. his vocals seem way more intense on other projects, like Crimson and Brave Murder Day

This reminds me of the kind of metal I would have loved to listen to when I used to hate heavier stuff. Not bad, all in all.
