Because it's a good review, I doubt the user who neg'd it is going to man up and tell you.

you really dont give any musical examples besides when you talk about the horns in the national anthem. other than that you kind of just compare songs to other bands and throw around terms like "lack of restraint" and "undeveloped" without really going into any more detail or specific examples
the writing is fine but i just cant really see where youre coming from (didnt neg)

i didn't neg either, and your writing is fine and all, but the content is just too vague. you just don't like it, which is fine and all, but some of your comparisons are a huge stretch and basically all of your negatives are my positives.
also negs really don't mean shit all. nothing to fuss over

Album Rating: 5.0 | Sound Off
once you get past how """"polarizing""""" this album is, it starts to sound just like Radiohead doing Radiohead. Specifically, Radiohead doing what Radiohead would do after OK Computer. It has all of OK Computer's eclecticism, abrasiveness, and beauty- it's just contained in a darker setting this time. Sure, Talk Talk could've written Disappear Completely, but that doesn't change the fact that it's a goddamn beautiful song. Idk, like I get why certain people wouldn't dig the sound of this album, but if you like Radiohead, and if you like cinematic, "album" albums where every song is amazingly distinct from the rest but they still all go together... I don't see why you wouldn't like this. And how can you say this doesn't make as grand of a statement as OK Computer? I think the statement is pretty obvious. You have a post-apocalyptic landscape, and it's called Kid A. Well-written review and all, but damn I think you're kind of missing the point

to the person who said that Optimistic is like the only good song, i am a firm believer in opinions and whatnot but that's the worst song on this and i want to fight you

It's not the worst on here it's like my 4th fave, but not the best imo either

i am just genuinely floored that someone can listen to this album and come away with the impression that Optimistic is the only good song
and i mean i love Optimistic for the record, but that's just crazy to me
