I think coming into this album expecting a "Tonight Alive" album was a mistake now that I'm revisiting this. There's actually a fair bit of enjoyable moments if you take it in as a more standard pop record rather than a pop punk album.
plus I'm such a sucker for Jenna's vocals

If only the rest could have lived up to the high points like To Be Free and How Does It Feel... had so much potential to be a great release

So as it turns out, the band themselves were forced to go in this direction by their label. Jenna talks about it here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RzyuZ1qfkD4
Always knew something was up with this album

In a word, boring. A very disappointing release from what used to be a fun band. Just had my first listen to "Underground" and I am hopeful they have returned to form.
