His reasoning for not streaming this is kind of dumb. He makes the argument that Spotify isn't fair to other artists, which is fine I understand that, but then he says streaming not meant to be sustainable. I don't get that at all, how is it not meant to be sustainable considering that it's practically making iTunes obsolete?
Long story short, he's more worried about making money, which is pretty much one of the main reasons why most rock in the early 2000s sucked ass. If anything they could've stream it temporarily if that's the case, which if you asked me is a better way of getting people to buy your albums instead of forcing people from your greedy little fingertips.

^That's actually ridiculous. And I let this dude sign my shirt lol.
Unfortunately, I've been convinced to try this yet again and if I still hate it, I might actually do a review. What surprises me is that this is that I expected the rest of this site to be shitting on this since it really is just a generic rock album with some generic heavy parts. It's amazing how calling them a Rise band now makes perfect sense. Oh well.
I always put these guys and I The Mighty in the same boat in terms of general sound as well as appealing to the same kind of audience. As I The Mighty improved, these guys declined. So if you want this album but done right, I The Mighty's Connector is for you.

Unimagine > Ground Dweller > Dissonants
Honestly this feels mostly uninspired. There are some good moments, but I don't feel drawn in to keep listening. I'll give it a few repeats to convince myself otherwise, but I expected something more than just tight breakdowns I've heard from other bands for 40+ minutes. I really like HLH though, so this won't be the last chance I give them.

I gave it a listen, and I'm kinda soured by everything surrounding this now. From them refusing to put it on Spotify to everyone on twitter calling it fucking revolutionary, I just don't get it. This could have been titled "Restoring Force: The B-Sides" and I wouldn't have questioned it.

I really wanted to like Unimagine but I got bored after a while. Though the first two songs were excellent.

Now if only the band would get their thumbs out of their asses and give out an actual stream of this...

"Now if only the band would get their thumbs out of their asses and give out an actual stream of this..."
Yeah I really hope Rise gets on their asses on that. This is probably my favorite band at the moment but the fact that they think not putting their album on Spotify will help this is just pretty foolish imo

not streaming ur album is just going to increase the chances of people pirating it and not buying it at all.

I understand not putting music on Spotify specifically but not streaming your music after it's been released because "it's not a fair system" is pretty much bullshit.
"not streaming ur album is just going to increase the chances of people pirating it and not buying it at all."
to be fair, this was leaked like three weeks ago
