ultralight beam is ok, one of the better tracks
album version of wolves sucks compared to the original
havent heard album version of fade yet cos of shitty download

it's great but not essential imo, would love to put 30 hours into the regular tracklist but the like 2 minute outro with Kanye talking about it being a bonus track kills any flow lol
also agree that the original is way better but i still like the new version as well

His best album since MBDTF. Yeezus was great, MBDTF is a classic and this is somewhere in between.
Fitting that he wants us to see parallels between Picasso and himself throughout their lives and he uses this album as sort of a autobiography of his music.
Real Friends is the his old sound from Late Registration and the skits are views from LR/TCD. The excessive use of auto-tune and guest's that use auto-tune excessively(Young Thug, Ty Dolla Sign, Desiigner,The-Dream, etc) are to showcase what a landmark 808's was to hip-hop. Father Stretch My Hands in all its grandiose could fit right into MBDTF and Feedback is a perfect Yeezus piece.
Album is really well done. I know you guys don't care for my hip-hop input so time for me to not post again for another year yabishes

Surprised Wolves didnt get more attention before this, song is freaken beautiful
|
| |
reich you're cool why do you turn into such an anus about this genre lol
|
| |
Yeah, so once you realize that the actual album ends with Wolves, and the rest are just bonus tracks the album becomes a lot more cohesive. BTW, Father Stretch My Hands (both parts) didn't stand-out on the first listen or two, but have now really grown on me.

I'm really trying to figure out what others are hearing that I'm not. I don't understand how this could be better than a 3 from anyone... The only track I think is actually great is No More Parties in LA, and even that isn't THAT great. Half the tracks on this are 100% skips/filler.

Same here. I'm not hearing anything too great besides "Real Friends" and "No More Parties In LA"

The production is great... This is where Kanye has always excelled
It seems like he's almost given up on writing good verses though, he's lost the fire. Repeats lines three times just to fill space. Probably more interested in his shoes now.

Kanye needs a lesson from Run The Jewels if he's truly a watered down version of his former self!
