I just came back to Intimacy. Was introduced to it by a girl I dated like 6 years ago and it ended terribly. Made a bad association with it, and then forgot it existed.

Spun it again the other day. Holy shit there's some quality tracks on here. A few hit and miss, but on the whole, it's gorgeous. Some of the experimental parts grate on me, but god bless them for doing something totally different. Zephyrus and Better Than Heaven are just wonderful.

The part in the middle of better than heaven with the drum fill is one of the best things they've ever put on record

I think it's totally out of place in the song, but it never seems to matter because of how much I like it when I'm listening to it

Decided to give this another spin. Except for Virtue which is meh, I full-heartedly agree with the above. I feel like it could be a good album if Kele had some self-awareness or someone to tell him better. I mean who though that synth part in The Love Within was a good idea? One of the most annoying things I have heard in music ever.
