It's better than The Color of Violence (the last band I'm aware of that saw post-hardcore poster boys try doing grindcore) by miles.

This is on repeat again and again. Never though I could handle listening to Craig more than 5 minutes in a row.
That said, he still comes off as the weakest link. I'm simply amazed by the music itself though - if all of this was made by him and a friend (and assuming Craig doesn't play any instrument here), then his friend is talented as fuck, and I would love to know the dude's name/story.

Thanks Mort.
Any chance of him being in a known band or something? Dude's can't be totally new to the scene...

No idea tbh, theres fuck all info about him and this project out there. Pretty sure craig owens said it was recorded in his bedroom so find out where he lives then search for musicians called hiram in core bands in the area and see if something pops up. I might attempt some sleuthing later but he could be a total nobody

Newsflash: Craig Owens is a beast.

I don't think this sounds like Rings of Saturn

Thanks Snox, appreciated. I'm honestly not too well versed in more spastic grind like this (I prefer the older, crustier style) so that's why I felt the Botch comparison was apt considering they are also pretty chaotic.

I like powerviolence as well, and I was tempted to make a comparison to it, but it seemed a bit too metallic for it to make sense IMO.
