Okay maybe it's just the first few minutes of the song that the drums need to come up in the mix.

Damn I'm not digging this at all. :/

Nothing about it pulls me in, def not like I was expecting. Riffs get boring, no mezmorizing atmosphere at all for me. Pretty damn disappointed tbh.

The new Is EP beats this pretty well.
Not really feeling this too hard, I mean it's good, but not feeling it.

Somebody labelled this as blackgaze on RYM and if there is anything I don't see this album being, it's that

After listening to it the first time i thought i heard some slight wolves in the throne room-ness to it but otherwise no, i would never tag it as blackgaze

Good review. TIL the guy from Saor was part of Falloch. Probably will check this.

Atmosphere on dis is pretty sweet but the repetition that goes on here is a bit overboard

If Andy's songwriting mirrors that found on this in the new Saor LP, I'm gonna be pretty bummed :[

After one listen, this is definitely some solid atmospheric black metal. Probably a 3.5. I agree with the other comments saying it's a little too repetitive. The atmosphere is nice, but doesn't pull you in enough to warrant the repetition.

actually after finally listening to vemod, which i mostly just listed in the similar artists section because marshall mentioned them as an influence, there's quite a bit of them in this. probably the most noticeable influence really
