Yeah, putting a worst songs list is pretty much asking for trouble.
Am I the only one that really likes Hooker with a Penis? It was one of my favorites on the album...

I'm sorry, but in my opinion H. is one of the best songs Tool has ever written, it would definetely at least be in my Top 3 for this album.
And I'm guessing you're not a guitarist because you seriously underestimate Adam Jone's ability as a guitarist. He can come with some intense and powerful melodic structures and can quite capably shred impressively.

Aw man, you negged me. Well there goes my perfect score. You think H. is one of Tool's best songs ever? Well, not to be rude, but I really don't give a fuck about your opinion. Actually, yeah, I'm being rude. I've stated repeatedly why I don't think H. is up to par with the rest of the tracks, and for you to come up in here with no backing facts just doesn't make any sense. Guess what? I'm not a guitarist. So I can't be sure exactly how good Adam Jones is. But let me tell you this: he's no John Petrucci. He rarely solos. His riffs are not that technical. What makes him so great?

Same Here. But Jones is over rated. He's good, but I think the rest of the band is to good for him.

I'm stil debating on whether I should buy this or not. I've heard some great things about it, but I've also heard some horrible things.

Aw man, you guys are still ripping on my choice of putting H. on the worst list. I really don't think that H. is a bad song whatsoever, and I actually like it a lot. What you guys don't seem to understand is that this album only has nine actual "songs" on it. That means that one third of the songs on this album are going to make the worst three list.
And Muisee, I think you'd catch even more flak than I did with H. for putting Pushit on the worst three list.

It's good to see this album getting the respect it deserves (not that it doesn't on this site!). Lets face it, what album can even touch this besides Lateralus?
I think your a little harsh on Adam Jones. I mean hes not the best, but he suits the band just fine. Do you play guitar? Because i play the drums and I do the same things with drummers.
I think Stinkfist is one of the better songs even though it isn't quite as complex. Then again, all these songs are awesome. If Tool would do away with their filler garbage I would just as soon label this the best album ever. Thats prog rock for ya. I should be used to it.This Message Edited On 08.30.06

Adam Jones can't play as fast as John Petrucci. However, John Petrucci would look like a dumbass if he tried to play like Adam Jones. Same goes for all those guys in Dream Theater...they're just big dumbasses. They don't seem to understand at all what music is.
