The spectre of Drake looms so much over current hip-hop/r&b it's insane.

This kind of surprised me. Production on point, no doubt about it. Most of the instrumentals are fantastic as well.

The Tame Impala cover is entirely unnecessary. I don't know why people rave about it; it's nearly note-for-note. Pointless.
Not feeling this album very much after a couple listens. Every Rihanna album usually has three or so songs that I'm nuts over, but there aren't any on here.

Barely anybody has been nuts over the Tame Impala cover, a lot of people are agreeing it's just basically karaoke. Good karaoke, as Rihanna sounds nice on the instrumental, but the point still stands.

Still, it was a welcome change of pace.

Yeah, she rips on quite a few different artists on this.
I thought that this was fairly decent. Will definitely listen to this again at some point.

I wish James Joint was longer, because then it would be the best song here.

TooManyFriends nailed it, this album is littered by Banks' influence, especially "Desperado" and "Yeah, I Said It". I really dig it for sure but Desperado is almost TOO obvious.
