Well I'm glad an authority on the subject such as yourself came along before the rest of us spent our days in the dark.

Look, I had no intention of fighting when I came here, I was just saying that his review wasn't as bad as you guys were saying it was. I mean, it's his first review, and being new around here, I'd say he's done well.

I'm sorry for anything I've started.

...Btw, how do you quote stuff?

So, you've never heard Crawling by them? >_>

Thank you for proving me right. Buy a Rites of Spring album and get back to me.

Just because it's their first review doesn't mean I'm going to baby them. I wear my opinions on my sleeves. This Message Edited On 05.23.06

STEERPIKE: I'm not saying to baby them, but constructive criticism is better than flat out, "This album sucks and so do you."

Btw, I'd rather not waste money on an emo album. No offense to the emo peeps [>_>], but I'd rather buy an awesome album, like something from Bon Jovi.

Please point out where I said that.

I never speak any opinion I'm not prepared to back up. I disapprove of people who spout out "they suck" like some horrible catchphrase.

Well then stop using the word "emo" if you can't be bothered or open-minded enough to figure out what real emo is.

And if you're really strapped for cash, just download a few songs off of Limewire. It's pretty easy to get your hands on some Rites of Spring, Moss Icon, Circle Takes the Square, et al.This Message Edited On 05.23.06

What is the point of rating nine out of the fourteen songs a 5? If you're gonna do that, just leave out the ratings altogether. And you got to be crazy to rate Three Nil a 4.5.

I'd personally rate it a 1.5 or a 2. Not good stuff at all, I hate the part where he goes "this is not my revolution!" and stuff like that. It's a crappy rehash of The Blister Exists.

Uh... Kind of. You also rate it on whether or not it was well-written, not just on whether you like the band.

an ok review but a bit biased

Reviews by definition are biased because they express an opinion.
