Buckethead is a joke, and nothing else.

It's weird to me that because he releases a bunch of stuff, people think Buckethead is some kind of joke or something.

While I think the Pike series is ridiculous, there's no denying that the guy has insane amounts of talent, which shines through on some of the Pikes, but definitely shines through on a lot of his earlier LPs. The disdain for his output, sure, but the disdain for his raw talent is stupid.

Well, considering he released about 120 albums last year, I imagine that he just decided "fuck it" with the album titles.

I just recently began listening to some pikes randomly on YouTube (including this) and was really surprised at the quality tbh, there's some serious riffing going on there. Will def check out more.
