the first one is like dire straits death metal and it rocks. The new one is more dire straits prog and it doesn't go as hard, but it's still great.

Mmm this is a mixed bag for me. sultans of swing & down to the waterline are easy and stone cold 5s, guitar rock and story teller perfection. Wild west end is a strong 4 with its relaxed and slightly melancholic mellowness. But honestly the other songs are 3s at max, as much as I love this band...
