'Elephant Riders' is probably their best just due to the song writing, even though it lack rawness

Clutch are a strange band that overall I like but I can't award any of their full lengths over a 3 because I never find them that satisfying across a whole album :/

I can find myself in that, this might go down tbh.

But not even Earth Rocker? That record is their most satisfying release to date.

I should revisit Earth Rocker but first impressions were it wasn't the Clutch style I appreciate most. The good material on this one for example is perfect (first two track in particular).



If they had a whole album as good as those two, in a similar production style/performance style then I'd 4.5 it.
