If I give you critique, use it to make your reviews better even if you don't agree with it; that's how people become better writers. What one person sees is something else to someone else, and when you're here or writing essays/reviews, don't bee surprised if you don't get all the appraise you envisioned.

@miketunneyiscool123 I appreciate critique most times, when I see that I'm wrong somewhere. If i don't see it, I won't change my review, that simple. Unless you are the review authority here. Other posters didn't have anything to comment, so here you are ;)

Oh, and you didn't answer to my previous answer about your critique, I agreed on some things

If I can give you some advice Doc: if you want to stick around here for long and have fun, try not be an idiot to everybody. If people give negative comments on your reviews, try to use it as constructive criticism in order to help you become a better writer instead of getting mad and pissy at everyone. Just my two cents.

@danielcardoso But i'm not being an idiot to everybody and certainly not to the above poster; I just disagree with most of his assessments, that's all. In the places where I agreed, I gladly corrected my review, as you can see yourself. Not to mention that I asked him to elaborate on some parts of his criticism in order to improve my review, but he shrugged it off.

Yeah don't do this, changing your review as a response to critique you don't agree with certainly won't make you a better writer in the long term or the short term.

Doc, I'm not saying you should change or not your reviews based on others' comments. I'm saying you don't have to be so defensive, not everyone who speaks negatively of your reviews is trying to make fun of you, some just want to help you improve as a writer, which is perfectly normal given you're still young here and could use some development in your writing skills.

@danielcardoso Man, this is what I'm trying to say; I'm not being defensive. When I'm defensive it's usually because someone was obviously rude at me. Read the previous comments and you'll see I'm not a self-obsessed prick at all. It's just that some people here like to troll (ILoveRadiohead) or don't accept that I don't accept some of their criticism (miketunney). Giving criticism doesn't mean that said criticism is always true. Moreover, I wasn't rude to the latter dude after he gave me criticism (I said, in fact, ''Thanks for your time anyway man, I appreciate it'' to him, check it out). It was after he gave me a snobby answer in the likes of: ''If I give you critique, use it to make your reviews better even if you don't agree with it'' that he made me angry, that's all. Politeness is everything it seems. If someone is aggressive with me, I will be aggressive with him, that's all.

Let me try to rebound from the 'rough' journey before:



-I understand you don't agree with my critique. I'm ok with that since critique is (mostly) opinionated. At least you thanked me for giving you critique since it's not the outcome that matters but the act itself.



-I won't tell you to use my critique as I rudely suggested before. I apologize because coming from past experiences, rejection hasn't been my strong point in life as I often feel here. At least I'm man enough to owe up to my mistakes and take responsibility for my actions.



-I will give you positive feedback for your review. The review itself is solid and holds a strong main point. I 'personally' felt there were some minor issues, but that's just my opinion.



-If people give you good advice or points, try to keep them in mind for their point(s) may help you advance as a writer. I've only been here for a little over a year, and I know I often do silly shit and have a dick cake for a profile picture, but in my college studies and practices, I take literature very seriously and only want to help others along the way, even if I came off as rude or appalling.



Hope this helps and solidifies a sense of peace between us Doc. :D

You didn't made a bad review and I don't really understand all the polemic about it. This is probably because I'm a newbie on Sputnik. However, I really prefered your previous review about Led zeppelin. Probably because I really like more of Led Zeppelin II.
