This riffs hard. Great album, great band. It's not like those guys are newcomers either...they really found a great sound with this band. It does sound similar to Death but it's original enough, imo, to deserve to be listened.

Good-era Death worship is something you don't listen everyday. Nice.

Hideous and Trapped in Hell are a great example of what made Leprosy era Death ballsy yet catchy at the same time

Mom, can i have Death?
No, we have Death at home.

i find this band and this album in very poor taste.
that cover is kind of unacceptable.

These dudes just randomly popped up on my feed tonight. Gonna give these guys a fair shot but not loving the album averages I'm seeing here...
Also yeah the album cover for this is definitely kinda cringe
|
| |
Don't pay attention to averages. There's tons of great albums with shit averages.

I like what I hear but honestly I feel like too many of the songs come across like remixes of Death songs. I get it's a tribute band and all, but it borderline feels like just copying at times.
|

it is and it sucks
|
| |
Yeah it’s neat but way too derivative. I think a band that really nailed the Death “tribute” was Hemotoxin’s last album. Very clearly Death inspired but different enough to be its own thing.
