Im thinking this is their best for sure. At one point, when one of the vocalist roughed up his voice and did one of those half yell/half sing things he sounded like soupy. Dug that

I wasn't as harsh on 'Heart Attack' as most, but that's because I didn't mind the singles (which most disliked).
As for some "roughing up" here, as you eloquently put it, I agree & put that mainly down to producer Stevenson.

I would check this out even if you haven't liked this band in the past. I have never really liked them but this whole album kicks ass. Great guitar tones and really catchy melodies without any filler
