ehh, I wouldn't say TCtT is MILES ahead honestly. They're pretty much equal imo.

Just got Satori pretty recently and really have been enjoying it. Will have to try this out, too.

"That last song is gorgeous"
Yep, a track that not only is a fantastic tune on its own merits, but near-perfectly sums up the album in a nutshell. I'm really glad they kept it at the length they did too, because it would have been easy to turn it into some overblown 8 minute closer.
"I'd be definitely interested because things have taken a little too much of swing for the synthetic, and simply most people can't pull it off".
I think I will do it, since I keep thinking about it off & on. For example, you raise 2 points in that above sentence. Which one is most important? The fact that rock has become too synthetic OR that the bands that are heading that way cannot pull it off. maybe they're on to something, but cannot execute.
"lol I love the heading of the review... can't wait to listen to this and continue to jam the hell out of Too Close To Touch you guys NEED to check those guys out theyre amazing and miles ahead of I The Mighty"
Thanks for following my reviews mosh. People will think you're my alt account if you continue along those lines.
"Great review, been listening to this album a ton over the last week".
Thanks Alex. I tell you what, I'm seeing your name more & more in the ratings section whenever I look up an album.
"Just got Satori pretty recently and really have been enjoying it. Will have to try this out, too".
Ec, I think it's safe to say that if you enjoy 'Satori', you'll like this as well. A few tracks may seem off on the first couple of listens, but I recommend to give them a chance.

These guys have never stuck, giving your recommended tracks a listen though. It's like they're close to being onto something (as far as my tastes go) but are always just off enough to be disappointing.

I kinda know where you're coming from Acanthus & that's probably why they have maybe a foot in one too many camps atm. Personally, I like that about them, but as far as either winning over one set of fans or another, they're probably splitting them right down the middle. In other words, they may be too progressive for radio, but too catchy for prog/metal-heads.

Time for us to get a room... I know one where Def Leppard play 24/7

The band's name just makes me not want to check them at all, that's a generic scenecore band name

I'd never thought about that, but it actually does sound like a core band... But really, it's not that important. The important thing is that they're not that type of band.
