Cool to hear, because I would never recommend Hiberno as a first album (production is rough and it's not that approachable, even though it is a superb album), but it worked anyway! :D

From what I have heard from their later stuff, it does sound better than Hiberno for sure, although it is still a very solid album. It reminded me a lot of Exotic Animal Petting Zoo's first album particularly with a bit of Sikth thrown in.

After relistening to this album recently I forgot how incredible the guitar work is on Cotard. It is a god tier closer. Still not quite as good as BA BA BA-DA, BA BA BA-DA though.

True, Jayus is great. And Agnosie too has a superb brass and strings section. Also, the main melody in the verses in Athesie is infectious and it kinda sounds like it is from a video game too.
