I'm sure the only one who can make score more epic than the film would be Hans Zimmer

As I was watching it I just thought at certain points the music didn't quite go with the tone set by the movie.

Not taking anything away from the score or the film, just thought they didn't work as smoothly together.

Any specific scenes? I can agree with you, there was an odd mixture of metal music and punk vibes then in other scenes orchestral score was used instead, I could see that as being a bit jumpy.

The scene when max and fury are shooting at the gang in that canyon and all that orchestral music is being played in the background. Sounds great on its own, doesn't really work for the film. The punk and metal bits however I can get on board with because it's more in keep with what they were doing. Just my opinion though.

Sorry toon. Hardly a spoiker though.

I can agree with that sentiment. Movie as a whole was a great experience. Can't remember the last time I was on the edge of my seat as much as I was for Fury Road.

Yeah it was really good. Better than the original Max films, that's for sure. haha

Overall, sure, but I still prefer Mel Gibson's portrayal of Max to Tom Hardy. Gibson's Max was resourceful but witty, Hardy's came across as purely animalistic (grunting, very few lines, etc). I like both but I just preferred Mel's approach.

Oh yeah, completely agree. I actually thought Hardy was the weakest aspect of the film.

It'll be fun to see what he brings to the table for the next film, and what they do with his character.

I tend to see the character of Max as a facilitator to tell the stories of others. Not to say he won't evolve in some sort of capacity, but I feel like his character is somewhat stagnant and more or less a vehicle to tell the stories of those who comes into contact with in the wasteland. I'm more excited to see what group of people will have their story told next, because Miller did a great job with the Citadel, the "breeders", all the different cultures Max runs into in the movie; George Miller definitely created a very interesting world with limitless depth.

If he gets the same type of budget and the R rating again in sure it will be something amazing to see!

I've only seen American Sniper, Chappie, and Age of Ultron so far. I hope to see this during the weekend and possibly Ex Machina at some point.
