Yeah, so this one grew on me. Big time. Well done.

Separation Anxiety goes so hard in that outro

^That and Superhero are probably my favorite tracks. Superhero's chorus reminds me of stuff off of Angel Dust so much. The vocals he does on that chorus also remind me of another singer I really can't figure out.

I would put Matador and Cone of Shame in their top 15. The only weaker tracks are Sunny Side Up and From The Dead, and they're not even that bad.

The mixes on the CD and the single versions of Motherfucker are different, wtf
Listen to the opening piano chords on this video (the single) when compared to the CD version, the single's chords are much louder and more forceful:

Still can't get into that song at all. Matador might be one of their best songs now imo.

Um..... I guess no? Lol I think it's pretty damn good and features some of their best material here. Even if that best is very little but still.

Motherfucker is one of my favourites here, don't like the way it's mixed on the album though!

Wow, what a great album, totally thrilled! Didn't dare to believe it would turn out this good. Superhero, Separation Anxiety, Cone Of Shame and Black Friday are all brilliant. Only thing I'm not convinced of is the production though, takes it down a bit for me.

Where's the explosive wondrous moments they were always so good at? Their nearly there with a few tunes like Cone of Shame but they don't soar. Maybe a few listens will do it.

It will, this grows hard... I'm totally under its spell already.

It's an odd one. FNM are one of those bands that you don't expect to have to grow or open up to reveal their greatness. Their instantaneous hits round the head that get better.
That instantaneousness ain't here with this. It's not as disappointing as KFAD was though.

Ok, then we have a completely different feeling regarding the band as a whole as King For A Day worked similar to this for me when it came out and it's still my favorite FNM album by far. Probably you won't enjoy this one in the long run then...

Third listen in and I'm not convinced yet - Separation Anxiety and Matador have something about them but the rest just sounds like stock 'campy keyboard and Patton spooky speak-singing' FNM filler. Hope it grows on me, Album of the Year never did, think I've got that 2.5'd so I'm a little worried here
