Pots, you crazy S.O.B. Make up your mind, will ya?

Miniskirt is definitely my fave, but it was 'Taste' that got me to listen to - and review - this album.

hey man. first two listens were just underwhelming and came off homogenous plus all the other things i said...

third listen wouldnt have happened if it werent for this review and talking to you and i listened to it a lot more critically and was much more engaged and really picked up on a lot i missed earlier.

Fair call pots. I usually go the other way when I listen more critically.

Irving, do what pots did and keep listening. It will turn into a 4 in no time.

miniskirt, taste, and letting go are really nice, but I'm enjoying native speaker a lot more

Thanks Johnny. Her voice doesn't disappoint here.

Try not to compare this to native speaker. A lot of things changed with the band since then.

the first two times i just had it on while i was doing other shit so the nuances went by me. this latest listen i was especially impressed with the intricacies in the percussion which i didnt notice before.

Definitely worth a check lioness.

Pots, you wouldn't be alone in those initial thoughts. I even referred to it in the review. The more accessible sound just has to be the first thing that strikes you. But that's all part of the growth factor IMO.

By golly you're actually damn right on this one. Also - "Taste" is so so sooo good.

Thanks a heap edanolem.

I really didn't expect that Irving. Ok everyone, if you don't like this on 1st listen, just keep listening. Pots & Irving demand you to.

Fair call Gyro. I think many will still prefer their debut. It's amazing in its own right. This is just amazing in a different way.
