enjoyed their previous record and they were enjoyable live when I saw them a few years back touring with Deafheaven, but this record is a step up for them.
I enjoy the various shoegaze, noise, and post-rock elements that are always scattered throughout their tunes, but am also not afraid to point out moments where I definitely hear bits of A Perfect Circle and guitar tones that remind of The Cure and vocals at times remind of the The Cranberries. The recording overall sounds good and the drums are very solid on this record.
