Which isn't to say that I don't love the other two records in the T. Rex holy trinity. But every song on Electric Warrior (minus Girl, most days) feels full and rich and ridden with fantastic hooks.

I was listening to A Beard of Stars before and realized how much Bejar's voice (Destroyer) reminds me of Bolan's.
Seriously, listen to Woodland Bop and think about Destroyer, it's hilarious lol

This album was pretty disappointing in a first listen
Like Mambo Sun, Cosmic Dancer, and Jeepster are all as strong as ever, but it like dips hard after that…. But then Rip Off is amazing lol
So many songs were like “here’s some hard rock riffs and mellow sexy vocals to woo the alien girl” for like 5 songs?
