I'm a guy who has defended Nickelback, so...
I think what stings the most is that these guys had a real spark at one point. It's like in the pursuit of getting on the radio they've decided that the best idea was to just get rid of everything worthwhile about their sound and water it down as much as possible. But hey, it's working.
