man made of mice is where I find the vocals actually fit the best though. That song is my favourite on here.

Again Durzo, I agree with you. In fact, I had the thought previously, so I YT'd a couple of live performances and the vocals weren't all that much of an issue. Although, the guitar technicality dropped a level, which is only to be expected.
As for 'Man Made of Mice', I don't like it as much as the 2 singles... But the vocals do probably fit best on it.

I also noticed your reviews are getting longer these days, I like them more with a bit more length in them,
it was a very good review I felt. Ah maybe I like it because its the least like the other songs on here, I
doubt I will be rushing out to listen to them anytime soon though. Do you by any chance know moose blood?
You might like them.

Well, I haven't written a review for 9 or so months, so I wouldn't read too much into its length. Normally, I'm a notorious over-writer & have had to work hard over the years to shorten my reviews. I probably am just out of practice in the editing stakes.
Had not heard of Moose Blood. Comparisons and reviews look interesting, so might give them a shot when I get a chance. Thanks for the reco.

If this is anything like I, The Breather, I, The Mighty, and I, The Writer, I might dig it!
lol jk the single sounded pretty decent. I'll give it a whirl.

Well, I did think about putting I, The Mighty in the similar albums section. The other 2 bands I haven't had the honour to listen to.

The two singles are pretty good. The instrumentals, anyway, have piqued my interest. I had to laugh though, because the bassist is playing a squire in the Hold Strong video.

meh. I didn't like it. Good to see you reviewing again Davey, review is good.
The instrumentals on this are okay, but the vocals really really annoyed me.

I think those last 2 comments pretty much sum up how polarizing these guys are going to be and just how important getting used to the singer as quickly as possible will be to listeners. In a sense, neither commenter is wrong, even though you ultimately might have very different ratings.
Maybe if they sell a few more records, they'll be able to afford a proper Fender.

I didn't have issues with the vocals really, but the main attraction was clearly musicianship.

Yeah, I guess there is a difference between dislike & indifference or thinking they're average. The problem may be that there will be many listeners who cross the line into dislike when it comes to Evans' voice.
