Work on your organizational skills, each paragraph should be talking about a specific point while effortlessly tying in other points to prove that overarching point. Doesn't necessarily have to be the 5 paragraph essay format you learn in middle school, but organization is key. If your stuff is organized, it'll be a lot easier to make a point and back it up. Also, use a thesis. A thesis beyond just "this album is good" though, make it something interested and nuanced. Nuances are key for reviewing, otherwise everything would be a 5 or a 1. Keep practicing, you'll get the hang of it.
