I like the band because of the music. I think Ville has great vocals and a pretty good range. I dunno about liking the band because Ville is hot seeing as I am a dude.. and straight... last time I checked. Anyway, yeah this band is hated upon for so many reasons that are irrelevant to their music and some times (very rarely) for a reason a band should be hated i.e. crappy songs, band instrumentation, same ol' same ol', etc.

I know I just gave a lot of fuel for people who hate/dislike HIM, but eh, I still think they're cool

is this CD any good? i wanted to know before if I i decide to buy it

Even I know this, and I hate HIM. The heartagram stands for the bands unity for eachother. Bam just uses it because it is his favorite band. Nothing more, nothing less.

You know, HIM really ain't that bad. My fiancee plays this CD (and other HIM CD's) constantly in the car stereo, and they make some really catchy music. The strongest song on this album, in my opinion, is the opener. Great melody, great riffage. I think the weak point of the band is Ville's vocals. He's very monotonous, never really shows any range...

The album review was great but in my opinion i believe it should get at least a 3.5 or higher.

The band is not a joke whatsoever. i'm a fan of bam im not obsessed or anything but if it wasn't for bam then i would of not of heard of HIM. I met him in the phily airport and he wasnt doing anything crazy ):

1. The band have always said their music is a mix of a lot of styles, so they haven't sold out. Also, they cannot help the kind of fans they attract, the ones that aren't truly interested will fade away in time.



2. You sound like you've never heard any rockers talking! If they wouldn't talk trash sometimes that would make them wierd. Ville and the guys say what they like, and if you cannot understand humour and sarcasm, it's your loss. Sometimes he does say smt that would've been better left unsaid, but I still love his "devil may care" attitude.



3. Listen to the music then say they you don't like them. Thats fine, you don't need to over do it! Leave the fan base alone. Some of them come and go, but that's just life. I'm nearly 30 and there are a lot of us older people out there! As it happens Ville is hot, that's just the way it is, live with it!
