No it wasn't. There's a clear black metal influence on it anyway, so it fits a bit even. Love the use of nature samples.

I seriously think the production is really good...I don't think clean production would fit the style of music very well.

I don't think it will fit, but a bit better than this should work better I think.

I'm probably going to record most of it the same
next time but take it to a studio to do the drums.
That should be the ticket (though I personally love
how the blast beats on Higher Fear and Greyman
turned out).
