Mcdonalds for two you gotta read the fine print. :upset:
(exageration works on fools)
I hate those folded cardboard casings that CD's have a rep in coming in now. They dont fit correctly in my CD rack

Yeh, but Straylight still suck badly. I saw them live with Brand New and the entire audience kept shouting 'Taking Back Sunday is where the money is' and words to that effect. Brand New and TBS are good however.

I saw Straylight Run with Rooney and some other band that started with an 'O' and their nice people but I don't think there going to be going anywhere. I can definitely see John Nolan regretting what he has done in the end.
I don't think John regrets it, even if it was just another high-school feud. Imagine the tension they would be going through if John was still with them now?
Besides, Straylight aren't that bad.
too bad Straylight Run kicks arse
Downloaded album review  I'm sorry but I just don't like this. The people who actually wait for the album to be released and buy it deserve to get the top review in it. Anyway it was a good review. Only heard the new single. Most things i've read say it's not as instant as Tell All Your Friends and that you need to wait a while to get it. Will get this when it's released.
Agreed x10

where you want to be could be just taking back sunday finding their feet again or whatever with the new line up, think of this as things to come and expect the new album to be even better!
|
| |
i just bought the album two days ago and its good. its not the real tbs like on tell all your friends, thats the only thing, its just not the same. maybe it was because of john and shaun leaving for straylight run that just didnt make it right. like many people have said, yes you have to let it grow on you. id give it a 4/5 not only because its tbs but because i am actually enjoying most of it, despite what people have to say.
Straylight Run rule. Set Phasers to stun is my favourite track on the album.
i couldnt have said that any better. i completely agree with you.
In 'A Decade Under The Influence' the lyrics "i've got a bad feeling about this" are repeated continously, well ive got a bad feeling about this album.
Aha, very clever.
|
Even some of the song titles dont make sence. Theres a bonus mosh pit part 2, but there was never a part 1, and how can there even be a 'bonus mosh pit' ...someone please explain this to me.
the song is called "Bonus Mosh Pt. II" because on the first cd, a line in "Timberwolves In New Jersey" says "i got the mic and you got the mosh pit" this song is supposedly a follow up..
great album... 9.9/10 :thumb:
|
| |
.... And every band needs to title their songs with titles that make sense, was that added to the rules of scene or something?

Dual vocals(specifically TBS) is the best thing since sliced bread.

tbs ripped no ones music...they are good enough to do any **** thing they want anyway.. this album is great.. and a steal for $10 . give me a break what more could you ask for...except that i do wish follow the format was on the album... and how can some of you say these lyrics arent amazing..
"do you think hed be better at doin what i do best?"
"older and wiser, still filled with resentment, we get it, i havent been happier since.."
"drop everything, start it all over, remember more than youd like to forget"
"its love, make it hurt, i deserve it"
i dont believe it gets better....... have a nice day
|
| |
oh and by the way ..atleast a 10 on this album .. an 11 if it had included follow the format
|
| |
Taking Back Sunday.....HHHMMM...The album is good for its lyrical quility but like must POP-PUNK bands......IM TIRED OF THE F***ING POWER CHORDS AND THE AMAZING 3 CHORD CHANGES..F***.....LOL yeah i have listened to them since I saw them in concert like three years ago....Thought they were ok lots of energy...there musicianship left me feeling empty when I left the concert but I won't bitch to much...On the other hand I would never go to another concert due to the 16,17,18 year old EMO-GIRLS ruining everyones lives....becouse there so F***ing annoying.
|
| |
The fact that you spelled chords wrong makes that whole statement void.

Those lyrics suck haha. You're playing them off as the reason TBS is good when in reality that's a statement on their crappiness.
|
| |
"It's love, make it hurt, I deserve it."
Awwwww...
Crap.
|
| |
I think all the lyrics are good once to really listen to them.Pity that some of them are just sayings (e.g. "cross my heart and hope to die").
Its not as good as john nolans lyrics but the musicianship is deifinately better.
Oh and by the way they do not use as many power chords as the old TBS.
Fred is a better guitarist but not a better singer!!!!!
