Album rating is near correct as well, even if this does read as kind of harsh.

For the sake of being honest, I'm gonna have to say this style of reviewing shouldn't be used if you're ever planning on reviewing
newer stuff. You seem like a very smart dude and you clearly have confidence judging from the two revs I've read from you, but
like Gameofmetal said, this style seems like it would only be suited for stuff with tons of reviews. If you ever decide to review
something new, which I would advise if you plan to grow as a writer, you should really try to balance your complex/unique style
with a more straight forward approach. Cheers man.

"...but that chainsaw is a really interesting innovation and actually sounds damn good! I'm glad these guys did what they did; it's fun and catchy and works for me!"
Incredible review keep them coming

I am now planning to review something new (to the site, anyway), and will do so with consideration of that.

This might sound snide, and I'm sorry if it does. But when I read this assessment (see below) of the album, all I could think of is that the person saying it must be used to listening to kinda...simpler music than TMV? Idk.
'It makes a limited amount of sense, relies on drastic changes of tone and will likely provoke extreme reactions of various kinds. Its content is liberally arranged, highly self-indulgent and notably pretentious, yet also (forgive me) largely indifferent to its audience.'

Very clever review though

This review addresses a lot of the problems I have with Frances the Mute. I haven't listened to De-Loused, but it seems to be a similar experience anyway based on your review.

Noted...I might have been guilty of a bit of hyperbole there, so I understand you.

De-Loused isn't quite as sprawling as Frances, but they have much in common.

I'm curious IntriguingSergi have you listen to At the drive-in? If you have was it before or after TMV?

Slightly after, they are also interesting.

De-Loused looks like a mainstream pop album next to Frances the Mute, much more accessible.

You haven't listened to it, yet you rated it 5/5?
