Listening to this now. Band hasn't lost a step damn.

Yeah I have a soft spot for these guys tho. I actually do enjoy them on a personal level but this band is crazy consistent and they haven't really deviated much from their own metalcore formula so you kind of know what you're gettin into with these guys goin in.
That being said I'm really digging the pace of this album. To the Ground is standing out to me even though it may be considered one of the weaker tracks. It's bouncy and makes me want to lift evvvverrryyyyythiiinnnnggggg

I've enjoyed their last two albums quite a bit, this one nails it though. NE Metalcore is kinda my home territory hahah.

This is way better than anything they've done since The Oncoming Storm, and it might even be better than
that was.

I've only heard their last two albums. I heard darkness first and the march was just more of the same so I really didn't care for it. I'm not expecting much but I might check this out.

This album is also their shortest which clocks in around 35 minutes. Most of their albums are 40+

fuck ya. Sounds like their best stuff to date based off 'The Swarm' alone.

Alright this is pretty awesome. When it comes to old school melodic metalcore, Unearth have never been my go-to but solid band. My only criticism of this is that those parts where they sweep over chug patterns usually sound pretty identical to both each other and the intro to "My Will Be Done". Kinda liked the singing but it's not a deal breaker that it's gone

Yeah, all their stuff tends to run together and this album is no exception. Still would rather listen to this than anything they've done thus far.

I've preordered this. Cant wait to have a listen to this, invited the buddies over and I am super excited. If the album as a whole is as good as their two singles i am going to 5 this hard.

"some dude overheard me showing another dude this in the gym and called it pirate metal"
I read this as "some dude overheard me showering another dude in the gym."

This is really good.

I do wish there were cleans though, I've always felt these guys were pretty tasteful when it came to including them.

I've been a fan of these guys for a long time and this just felt like the album they needed consider the last two were lackluster. Especially The March since that was a very boring effort.

This is probably my favorite Unearth album since Oncoming Storm...Even though I did like Darkness and The March to some degree, this is drastically better.

it's fine, I'm not denying they've done the same formula for years but it's one of those bands for me that does it so well its never bothered me.
