Honestly, I think I've only heard their weaker stuff. Never even heard Willpower

I've only heard Sidewinder off of Willpower. I love the vocals towards the end yet always hear people say they dislike the vocalist.

the vocalist is kinda love/hate, yeah. it's probably my favourite part though... he just sounds so twisted, it's great

What other songs on Willpower would you recommend?

the whole thing man. I think Willpower is great as a whole, and best enjoyed from beginning to end, but I still think my fav track might be Sidewinder. Aside from that, idk... the title track is pretty dope

I'll have to stream it later. unfortunately it's their most expensive album, just like the Mollusk coincidentally.

Solid review. Just realized I missed these guys with Lord Mantis at a tiny ass venue a few weeks ago. Gonna jam to this one soon. Seems like this band can do no wrong to me

I've been spinning this album everyday, sometimes 2-3 times In a row and it is without a doubt the best stuff I've heard from them since Sadness Will Prevail. Willpower, Temple of the Morning Star, and Sadness Will Prevail used to be my go to albums when I was in the mood to listen to TItD but Animal Mother has easily taken the number one spot in my rotation.

I love In the Eyes of God also but I was kinda let down with Kiss the Pig and Axis of Eden although they have there moments. I was also pretty surprised with the production value on Animal Mother as well. Everything sounds amazing through the equipment I play it on. Def my album of the year so far along with Godflesh's A World Lit Only by Fire.

is Zodiac the actual closer? every tracklist i've seen (including my copy) have Bloodwood as the closer... either way, album rocks

yeah, the version I was listening to when I wrote this had Zodiac as the closer but the version I have now has Bloodwood.... guess I'll revisit this review and adjust things a bit

so this thing has 14 tracks, but at the time it was streaming it had 15 (with Zodiac as the closer). so idk why it didn't make it onto the physical release but w/e
