haven't listened yet but i dont need to to know this review is wrong
| | | idont think hes a troll. if you were to hrshly critcize a plumber for his plumbing skills he wouldnt take it lightly. equally this guy seems to takes writing criticisms rsther harshlly.
simple as that.
that being said, cam you should say more and write less. if you know what i mean.
| | | One idea to a paragraph. Next idea; new paragraph. Also: don't do track-by-track reviews. Sputniker's really hate those. Describe the general gist of the album and potentially name-drop a few of the tracks and describe an aspect of each in a sentence, but don't go one-by-one and explain why you dis/like each track, and provide a rating in parenthesis. That gets really tiring to read, because it's as if you're just reading a list.
My suggestion would be to experiment by trying to write something as succinctly as possible, in the least amount of sentences. Less is often more.

Not talking to Negator. I'm a little annoyed, because I just got done explaining that I respect the respectful criticism, that I just now got around to reading comments, that I will work on my style, and that I am trying to get everyone to talk more sensibly. Nevertheless, I'm getting people from various angles coming in saying that I ignore the comments, don't take the criticism, and am speaking on some sort of low level. It's as if no one is paying attention.

@Solbrave You're not one of my readers, and if this site really is populated with simplified readers and writers who are de-matured by internet sensibilities, then perhaps I made a mistake joining this website. I can take criticism, but that comment is a reflection of what I hate about Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, and all sorts of other communities so overrun that they incorporate children. I don't know about you, but I do take writing seriously, and I will aim to improve my style for those who put sense and taste in their writing and criticism, not for you, or BMDrummer, or SnakeDelilah.

Thank you, RaurosAmmonoidea. I do not feel appreciated, and I will do what I can to make everyone as comfortable as I can, but I was aiming to be unique, and if I can get someone to appreciate that, then I feel that I have succeeded. Otherwise, I apologize if I am making people uncomfortable, and if there's any way I can continue doing what I love without infringing on others' comfort zone (The libertarian way), say, by preventing my reviews from jumping front and center, and keeping them locked away in some sort of link or something, I'm all ears. If you have yet more assaults, however, please take your business elsewhere.

That's another thing! Is there any way I can give uneven ratings, like "2.75/5", or "3.75/5", rather than the basic "3", "3.5", "4", etc.?
| | | I don't like the vox but the instrumentation seemed pretty chill. Will eventually listen to the whole thing.

Wait, I've got to be off now. Hang in there, folks, and I'll be back to take in comments and give what would be considered adequately satisfactory to everyone.

Cam, you can't rate albums in increments like that (ie 4.2, 3.7) unless you're a moderator or such.
