johnny is right. satire =/= comedy. and having comedic undertones doesn't pigeon hole it to anything. its not a black comedy, its as simple as that. and yes there were moments i was laughing.

Gone Girl had some pretty funny moments that didn't feel out of place at all

I think you're confusing Gone Girl with Mr & Mrs Smith.

I exclaimed "oooh" during that part and probably had an evil grin on my face.

It was such a climax (ba dum tss) to watch with hundreds of others in a theater.

Kind of, but I feel like he was misunderstood in some way. Like he'd been miserable his whole life, met Amy and suddenly things got better for him, only for that to happen. Sure he was a weirdo with what happened when they were a couple but she fucked him over pretty bad.

whatever he was an idiot in my eyes he already knew what she was like and then on top of that had nick come to his door and straight up tell him that she's psycho

That's a good point.
When she hit herself with the hammer, I'm pretty sure that would've done more damage than it did too. I mean, that was a solid hit.

Yeah I'm usually not haha (I can accept that the gunshot in Fight Club would've most likely killed the narrator) but that bruise was pretty small for a blow to the face with a hammer

the attention kinda fizzled around this duo after this soundtrack - anything worth listening to that they've done as of late?
