I've been hearing all this fuss about this album these past weeks, about how Weezer were finally back to their roots, to the inspiration of those amazing first two gems so...I gave this album a try and...personally...NOPE! Comparing this to those two masterpieces ['The Blue Album' and 'Pinkerton'] sounds like blasphemy to me. No mean to disrespect people who are diggin' this, I had hope, but still, for me, Weezer died right after 'Pinkerton'. The guys who came back with the new millennium aren't the same band. Sadly. Slightly better than 'Ratitude', anyway. But, that doesn't take a fucking genious.

it takes a deaf man not to realize that this is easily better than their last four albums

Lol @AcidCaravan. The Futurescope Trilogy alone kills their last four albums.

I wrote a page, but it was awful

Eulogy For A Rock Band is so damn good/catchy. I think its the best on the album along with Go Away and Ain't Got Nobody.

to me its just pretty repetitive and bland despite the female vocals, i dont think they were utilized as well as they could have been :/
