And yeah, this is quite bad but at least these guys are actually playing their instruments. Badly, but they're playing them. Unlike WTC. Who sound like they're taking dumps on their instruments.

lol appreciated

These guys remind me of Five Finger Death Punch. Talent and songwriting chops are in there, they're just too concerned with a certain mantra or attitude or something and take themselves WAAAAAAAY too seriously.

pretty much, they take it to the point of thinking that anything they do is good. Like let's throw some slam poetry in their, that will be awesome.

You want music from a city where you're unsure if you'll even see tomorrow then I recommend District Unknown of Kabul, Afghanistan. They have to perform in masks so that their identities aren't given away to the Taliban who would kill them if caught (at least that used to be the situation). There's genuine danger there.

Also this reviewer should work for Metal Hammer, he'll go down well there.

I'd argue that Flint, Michigan is a pretty dangerous city too.

I think the band are over playing that a bit too much though.

I grew up in a rough area. I was beaten up and thrown off my bike by people 5 years older than me. They stole it. I'm not writing a song about it.

We've all had bad experiences, what makes king 810 so special?

Also I'm pretty sure King 810 don't have religious extremists trying to kill them.

Yeah, I'd agree they're pretty preachy about it, and I think the only logical direction to go for the second album lyrically is to drop that attitude, and maybe see them talk about the struggles of the city, not how hard you have to be to survive. Something more positive? They're certainly not positive here lol.

Honestly, I wrote this while I was stoned at 2 in the morning and couldn't sleep. This is just me writing down exactly what was going through my head.....I still love them album. Can't wait to see them with Slipknot and Korn

I know someone on a chat who digs this band, they just like the brutality of the song writing.

As long as someone can find a way to enjoy this stuff more power to them.
